Omar David Hernández Colón, professionally known as Darkiel, launched his music career at the age of nineteen in his native Puerto Rico, gaining initial recognition through his freestyle performances on the Facebook page Freestyle Manía. With over two dozen music videos released, Darkiel has amassed a significant following, with hits like "Vestida Preciosa," "Donde Estarás" featuring Farruko, "Nadie Muere de Amor" with Amenazzy, and the recent success "Me Siento Bien" alongside Jamaican artist Shaggy, totaling over 342 million views on YouTube and 3.6 million followers on Instagram.
In addition to his music endeavors, Darkiel surprised audiences with his impressive acting in the Netflix biographical series Nicky Jam: El Ganador, portraying the younger version of the renowned Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Nicky Jam. Currently, Darkiel is gearing up for the release of his new music project in collaboration with BMG, Chosen Few, CMN, and Onfire Music.
