Biography
Relocating to Baltimore in 2004, Deacon began touring extensively across America, establishing his name through crowd-interaction-focused shows and annual festivals like Whartscape. Signing to Carpark Records, he released breakthrough album Spiderman of the Rings in 2007, followed by the surrealist film Ultimate Reality in collaboration with Jimmy Joe Roche. Deacon's subsequent releases, such as Bromst in 2009 and Gliss Riffer in 2015, continued to showcase his experimental and joyous musical approach, while his involvement in soundtracks for films like Rat Film and Time Trial further expanded his creative output. Constantly evolving, Deacon's most recent studio album, Mystic Familiar, was released in 2020, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and innovative musician.
