Biography

Irish singer/songwriter Damien Rice began his music career in the late '90s with indie rock band Juniper, which signed to Polygram in 1997. After leaving the group due to contractual issues, Rice returned to Dublin to focus on music, eventually releasing his debut album "O" in early 2002, which achieved commercial success in the UK and Ireland. Following the release of his second album "9" in 2006, Rice gained a growing fanbase in the US and continued to tour extensively.

In 2014, Rice released his third album "My Favourite Faded Fantasy," produced by Rick Rubin, which topped the Irish charts and received positive reception in Europe.
