Dance/freestyle artist Cynthia launched her career in 1987 after catching the attention of producer Mickey Garcia, leading to a five-year contract with MicMac Records. She released two albums, including her self-titled debut and Cynthia II, featuring hits like "Change on Me" and "Love Me Tonight." Despite success, Cynthia left MicMac to explore other musical styles, eventually signing with Tommy Boy and venturing into club music with singles like "How I Love Him" and "Like a Star." Although plans for a new album fell through, she released Cynthia's Greatest Hits in 2001 before largely stepping out of the spotlight.
