Biography

CRi, a prominent figure in the Montreal electronic music scene, is known for his unique blend of pulsating house synths, intricate syncopated snares, and innovative basslines. Rising to fame as a self-taught college dropout, CRi gained recognition with EPs like 'Tell Her' and 'Someone Else' on Young Art, leading to a Juno nomination in 2018 and the release of the mini EP 'Me and My Friends.' Collaborating with Charlotte Cardin on 'Fous n’importe où' and debuting on Anjunadeep in 2019, CRi's debut album, 'Juvenile,' solidified his position in the industry, culminating in winning breakthrough artist at L'ADISQ and headlining the mainstage of the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2021. With a growing international presence, CRi's forthcoming second album, 'Miracles,' is highly anticipated as he continues to evolve his sound and receive critical acclaim.
