Biography
After gaining recognition online for her virtuosic guitar playing, Young established Covet upon returning to San Jose in 2014. The group, initially consisting of Young, bassist David Adamiak, and drummer Ben Wallace-Ailsworth, released their debut EP Currents in 2015. Subsequent albums like Effloresce in 2018 and Technicolor in 2020 showcased the band's post-rock and math rock influences. Covet's 2023 release, catharsis, delved into a conceptual realm, blending instrumental complexity with Young's occasional vocal contributions.
