Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Cookin’ on 3 Burners are a renowned R&B group blending jazz and street soul. Formed in 1997 by Hammond organ player Jake Mason, guitarist Lance Ferguson, and drummer Ivan Khatchoyan, the trio established their unique sound with a foundation of '50s and '60s jazz and soul, highlighted by the prominent use of the Hammond organ. After releasing their debut single and album, they toured with notable artists and achieved success with their funk-infused covers and original tracks.

Following lineup changes and acclaimed releases, including the hit single "This Girl," Cookin’ on 3 Burners continued to innovate with their third album, Blind Bet, featuring diverse collaborations and inventive arrangements. Their exploration of hip-hop and electro-funk elements led to successful partnerships with artists like Tex Perkins and French producer Kungs, expanding their sound and reaching new audiences with chart-topping hits.
