CocoRosie, formed by sisters Bianca and Sierra Casady, is a multi-disciplinary project that blends various genres like hip-hop, folk, opera, and electronic music to create a unique and emotionally resonant sound. Subsequent albums like Noah's Ark and Grey Oceans showcased their growth and musical experimentation.
