Clueso, born Thomas Hübner in Erfurt, Germany, emerged as a central German rap star, breaking stereotypes about hip-hop originating solely from the western region. Drawing inspiration from Inspector Clouseau, he released his debut EP in 1998 and his first full-length album in 2001. Clueso's musical journey evolved from rap to reggae-inspired rhythms, incorporating jazz, funk, and rock influences in subsequent albums.

Throughout his career, Clueso ventured into different genres, winning awards and achieving commercial success in the German music scene. Notably, his sixth album, "Stadtrandlichter," debuted at number one and reached gold status. Transitioning to an acoustic sound, his album "Neuanfang" also topped the charts in 2016, showcasing his versatility and continued musical growth.
