Chino Kidd

Tanzanian artist Chino Kidd, born Isaya Michael Mtambo, has risen to prominence in the Bongo Amapiano genre. Originally from Ifakara, Morogoro Region, he relocated to Dar es Salaam to pursue his passion for music and dance. Initially known for choreographing artists like Rich Mavoko and Marioo, Chino Kidd made a successful transition to a solo music career with his hit track "Zuma," which propelled him to stardom and popularized his signature "Chino Wanna Man" catchphrase. In addition to his musical achievements, he was honored as the Best Music Dancer of the Year at the Tanzania Music Awards in 2023, and he aims to establish a dance academy to support talented youth facing challenges.
