Chicago Children’s Choir

The Chicago Children’s Choir, a non-profit organization led by President Josephine Lee, aims to inspire and unite youth from diverse backgrounds to become global citizens through music. Founded in 1956 in response to the Civil Rights Movement, CCC has expanded to serve 5,200 students through various programs across Chicago, impacting over 50,000 youth over its 65-year history. With a focus on diversity and inclusion, CCC provides opportunities for low-moderate income students, with 80% of participants coming from such backgrounds and over 4,000 students annually receiving free programs and subsidies. The organization boasts a 100% high school graduation and college acceptance rate, nurturing future leaders who embody its core values in various professions.
