Biography

Salsa vocalist José Cheo Feliciano began his music career at a young age, dropping out of high school to immerse himself in New York's Latin music scene. He gained recognition as the vocalist for bandleader Joe Cuba and went on to record numerous albums with them. After a successful solo career and a brief retirement, Feliciano continued to make music, showcasing his sensual vocal style on labels such as Fania Records and RMM Records.

In 2008, Feliciano received a Lifetime Achievement award at the Latin Grammy Awards. Tragically, he passed away in a car accident in Puerto Rico in 2014, leaving behind a legacy of passionate salsa music that continues to be celebrated worldwide.
