Cemeteries is the brainchild of Kyle J. Reigle, who creates a unique blend of dream pop and goth rock under the genre he terms as goth pop. Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Reigle recorded his debut album in his apartment's guest bedroom over six months, drawing inspiration from David Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti, vintage horror films, and the nearby wooded areas. Accompanied by a visually captivating video by Nolan Wilson Goff, the title track of 2012's The Wilderness was released in late October, capturing the essence of Reigle's dark, atmospheric sound.
