Biography

Formed in 2004, Massachusetts post-rock band Caspian quickly gained acclaim with their debut EP, "You Are the Conductor," in 2005, followed by their first full-length album, "The Four Trees," in 2007. Over the years, they continued to impress fans and critics with releases like "Tertia" in 2009 and "Waking Season" in 2012, earning recognition as one of the leading acts in the post-rock genre. Despite facing challenges, including the 2013 passing of founding bassist Chris Friedrich, Caspian persevered and released their fourth studio album, "Dust & Disquiet," in 2015. Their most recent album, "On Circles," produced by Will Yip, arrived in early 2020, just before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, marking another chapter in the band's evolving musical journey.
