Carmen Consoli

Born in Catania, Italy in 1979, Carmen Consoli began her musical journey at a young age, forming her own cover band, Moon Dog's Party, as a teenager. Recognized for her powerful voice, Consoli caught the attention of producer Francesco Virlinzi, leading to the release of her debut album, Due Parole, in 1996. Her subsequent album, Confusa e Felice, solidified her position as one of Italy's emerging talents.

Consoli continued to evolve her sound, transitioning to a more rock-oriented style with her third album, Mediamente Isterica, in 1998. Over the years, she achieved critical acclaim and success, with highlights including her album Stato di Necessità and the live recording L'Anfiteatroelabambinaimpertente. Consoli's international reach expanded with releases like État de Necessité for the French market and performances in America, culminating in her sixth studio album, Eva Contro Eva, in 2006.
