Biography

Camilo Sesto began his music career with the band Los Botines, heavily influenced by the Beatles. After going solo and releasing his debut record, he achieved success with hit songs like "Fresa Salvaje" and "Algo De Mi." By 1974, Sesto had gained recognition throughout Latin America, leading to successful tours in South America and the U.S. His career peaked in 1975 when he starred in the Spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar. In 1978, his song "El Amor De Mi Vida" became a major hit. Sesto unexpectedly retired in 1985, but made a comeback in 1991 with the albums A Voluntad Del Cielo and Amor Sin Vértigo.
