Founded in 2014, Brooklyn Duo has become a prominent classical crossover ensemble known for their innovative arrangements and captivating live video performances. With over 1 million YouTube subscribers and 150 million annual streams on platforms like Spotify and Pandora Radio, the piano and cello duo has gained widespread acclaim and their music has been featured in popular television shows and events, including the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

Comprising married couple Marnie and Patrick Laird, both accomplished musicians with backgrounds from Juilliard and Eastman schools of music, Brooklyn Duo embarked on their musical journey by recording covers of popular songs such as Shakira's “Empire” and John Legend's “All of Me.” Encouraged by positive feedback and support from artists like Shakira, they have since released over 100 videos on their YouTube channel and 10 albums of covers that span a diverse range of artists and genres.
