Brand X

Brand X was a British jazz-rock fusion band formed by Genesis drummer Phil Collins and Atomic Rooster guitarist John Goodsall, with additional members Robin Lumley and Percy Jones. The group released their debut album, Unorthodox Behaviour, in 1976, followed by Livestock and Moroccan Roll in 1977. After Collins departed to focus on Genesis, Chuck Burgi and Peter Robinson joined for Masques in 1978, and the group released three more albums before disbanding in 1982. In the mid-'90s, Lumley, Goodsall, and Jones reunited, releasing several live collections. Goodsall passed away in 2021, and Lumley in 2023.
