After Grand Puba's solo debut in 1992, the remaining members of Brand Nubian regrouped for In God We Trust in 1993, which achieved moderate success. By 1994's Everything Is Everything, their pro-Islam rhetoric became more pronounced, leading to a decline in critical reception.
