Botnek, formed by Gordon Huntley & Erick Muise in 2008 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, initially gained recognition for their fidget & electro house releases, catching the attention of Dim Mak Records. Their viral remixes of Martin Garrix's Animals and The Chainsmokers' #SELFIE propelled them into the international touring circuit and festival stages worldwide. In 2017, Botnek returned to their quirky house roots with the release of Don't Need U on their label World Famous Headquarters, leading to a series of tracks in a similar musical vein. In 2018, they launched World Famous Radio on SiriusXM’s Insomniac Radio and opened World Famous Headquarters to outside artists, focusing on their unique blend of wacky house music inspired by their early days.
