Blaaze

BlaaZé, a Zambian-Indian rapper, is a pioneer of Independent Rap in both India and Zambia. He gained recognition with the VH1 premiere of India’s first Independent Rap Video, ‘In My Father’s Words,’ and has since collaborated with music legend A.R.Rahman on numerous blockbuster hits, including songs for films like Slumdog Millionaire and Couple’s Retreat. BlaaZé, who started writing rhymes at age 9, has worked on over 100 songs and holds the distinction of being the world’s first Sanskrit rapper, showcasing his versatility and passion for music and poetry.

In addition to his musical achievements, BlaaZé has been recognized with awards such as MTV's Youth Icon in 2009 for his socially conscious songs. He has also ventured into education, offering classes on The Art Of Creative Writing & Rap to inspire others to express themselves through Rhythm And Poetry. BlaaZé’s commitment to spreading his love for music and art is evident in his diverse body of work, which includes collaborations with top artists and his unique ability to blend traditional poetry with contemporary rap.
