Houston-based rap artist Bizzle, formerly known as "Playboy," embraced Christianity in 2008 after growing up in Los Angeles, California, where he honed a unique blend of Down South, West Coast, and East Coast influences in his music. His debut album Tough Love & Parables in 2011 marked his Billboard chart debut with standout tracks like "God Over Money" and "This Ain’t Love." Bizzle continued his success with subsequent releases like The Good Fight in 2013, Well Wishes in 2014, Surrender in 2015, and Crowns and Crosses in 2016, each showcasing his dynamic production choices and chart-topping achievements. In 2018, he further solidified his career with the trap-infused EP Light Work, featuring standout tracks like "Way Up" and "Warriors," which garnered attention and praise, including a collaboration with NBA star Stephen Curry on the Golden State anthem.
