Biography

Bigbang is a Norwegian pop/rock band that formed in 1992 and consists of Øystein Greni, Erik Tresselt, and Christer Engen. Over the years, the band underwent several lineup changes but remained a trio led by Greni, the band's primary songwriter. They made their album debut in 1995 with Waxed, followed by Electric Psalmbook in 1999. Bigbang achieved mainstream success in 2000 with the hit single "Girl from Oslo" and subsequent albums like Clouds Rolling By and Frontside Rock 'n' Roll, which both reached the Top Five on the Norwegian charts.

The band continued to release successful albums, including Poetic Terrorism and Too Much Yang, with hit singles like "Not a Rolling Stone" and "I Don't Wanna." Bigbang also recorded in Los Angeles, producing albums like Edendale and Epic Scrap Metal. In 2017, Greni, the sole consistent member, released a solo album titled Pop Noir.
