Biography

Benjamin Clementine, a self-taught composer and pianist, gained recognition through busking in Paris before making his recorded debut in 2013 with the EP "Cornerstone." Following a successful appearance on BBC Two's Later...with Jools Holland, he released his debut album "At Least for Now" in 2015, winning the Mercury Prize and dedicating it to the victims of the Paris terror attacks. His sophomore album "I Tell a Fly" was self-produced and released in September 2017, showcasing his ambitious musical style.

In addition to his solo work, Clementine collaborated with The Gorillaz on the single "Hallelujah Money" in early 2017. Known for his poetic ballads and striking piano performances, Clementine's music has garnered critical acclaim and a growing international fanbase.
