Beegie Adair

Beegie Adair, a celebrated jazz pianist and arranger, was renowned for her renditions of jazz standards and show tunes, selling over two million records worldwide. Influenced by jazz legends like George Shearing and Oscar Peterson, Adair's melodic and nimble-fingered style captivated audiences.

Hailing from Cave City, Kentucky, Adair began piano lessons at age five and pursued music education, later becoming a session musician in Nashville. In 1982, she co-founded the Adair-Solee Quartet, eventually forming the Be-Bop Co-Op. Adair's prolific career included themed albums on songwriters and singers, collaborations with notable musicians, and performances at iconic venues like Birdland in New York. Her legacy lives on through her extensive discography released via Green Hill Productions.
