Formed in 1981 by sibling singers/guitarists Armando and Carlos De Castro, Spanish metal band Baron Rojo quickly gained traction with bassist José Luis Campuzano and drummer Hermes Calabria. After a successful run that included multiple album releases, the group disbanded in 1988, only to be resurrected in 1992 by the De Castro brothers with a new lineup.
