Biography

Seattle-based trio Barcelona, formed in 2005, blend dance, electronica, and indie pop to create passionate, melodic music. Initially starting with a more acoustic indie pop sound, they shifted towards a synthesizer-heavy, dance-rock-oriented style with their 2013 single "Background." Barcelona is led by singer/songwriter Brian Fennel, along with guitarist/vocalist Chris Bristol and drummer Rhett Stonelake. Their discography includes the albums Absolutes (2007) and Not Quite Yours (2012), with a series of EPs titled Melodrama set for release in 2014.
