Atomic Rooster

Atomic Rooster, a British progressive-rock band formed in 1969, achieved success with their self-titled debut album reaching number 49 in the U.K. in 1970. After lineup changes, the band released their second album, Death Walks Behind You, featuring the hit single "Tomorrow Night" and peaking at number 12 in the U.K. Their third album, In Hearing Of, produced the popular single "The Devil's Answer" and reached number 18 in the U.K. before the band split up. Fronted by Vincent Crane, Atomic Rooster had multiple lineup changes before disbanding in 1974, with Crane leading iterations of the band into the '80s before his tragic suicide in 1989.
