As Tall as Lions

Formed in 2002 in Long Island, NY, rock quartet As Tall as Lions gained recognition with their EP "Blood and Aphorisms" before releasing their debut LP "Lafcadio" in 2004. The band solidified their lineup with Julio Tavarez on bass and went on to release their self-titled album in 2006, followed by the darker R&B-influenced "You Can't Take It with You" in 2009. After years of touring and notable appearances, the band amicably parted ways in 2010, with members pursuing new ventures such as Cliff and Julio forming The Black and the White and Dan and Saen focusing on music production.

As Tall as Lions' journey from their early beginnings to their acclaimed albums and performances culminated in their decision to disband in 2010, allowing members to explore different musical avenues. Cliff and Julio went on to establish The Black and the White while Dan and Saen delved into music production and songwriting. The band's legacy lives on through their distinct sound and memorable performances, leaving a mark on the music scene that continues to resonate with fans and fellow musicians alike.
