Artcell

Formed in 1999, Bangladeshi progressive metal band Artcell, comprised of George Lincoln D'Costa, Ershad Zaman, Saef Al Nazi Cézanne, and Kazi Sajjadul Asheqeen Shaju, gained popularity with their debut song ‘অন্য সময় (Onno Shomoy)’. Their first album, ‘অন্য সময় (Other Time)’, was dedicated to their late friend Rupok and led to widespread recognition. Despite lineup changes, the band continued to evolve and released their long-awaited third album, 'Otritiyo', in late March 2023.

Artcell's track ‘Oniket Prantor’ has solidified their position as one of the country's top bands, according to The Daily Star. The band's journey has been marked by personal challenges, including the departure of key members like Shaju and Cézanne, yet Lincoln and Ershad remain dedicated to the band's legacy with the addition of new members.
