Ariel Rivera

Ariel Rivera, the Filipino singer/actor, is known for his warm voice and melodic adult contemporary pop style. Born José Ariel Jiménez Rivera in Manila in 1966, he moved to Canada and initially worked as an architect. However, he was discovered as a singer during a visit back to the Philippines in 1989 and signed his first recording contract. Rivera's self-titled debut album achieved triple-platinum status in Southeast Asia, followed by successful albums like Simple Lang and Photograph. While also pursuing acting, he continued releasing well-received albums and starred in TV dramas like Hahamakin ang Lahat on the GMA network since 2016.
