Argent

Following the breakup of The Zombies, keyboardist/songwriter Rod Argent formed his own band in 1969, blending classical, jazz, and art rock influences. The group, which included guitarist/songwriter Russ Ballard, released acclaimed albums before achieving mainstream success with hits like "Hold Your Head Up" in 1972. However, Ballard's departure in 1974 led to a shift in focus and ultimately the band's disbandment in 1976. Rod Argent continued his music career through solo projects and production work.
