Architectural is the techno alias of Juan Rico, based in Barcelona. Known for his darker industrial techno as Reeko, Architectural's sound is characterized by spaciousness, minimalism, and ambient influences. With carefully structured tracks that retain a sense of fluidity and adventure, Architectural made anonymous debut singles in 2010, followed by releases on labels like Paradigma Musik and Semantica Records. In 2013, Architectural collaborated with Reeko on The Blue Album, while subsequent releases like Secret Chapter and Amour showcased Rico's solo work. Experimental releases like Metropolitan Opera in 2017 further expanded Architectural's sonic palette.
