Allister

Formed in 1995 by Tim Rogner and Johnny Hamada, Allister started as a Chicago punk-pop duo before expanding to a trio with the addition of bassist Eric Mueller. Renamed after a character from a children's TV show, the band released their debut Drive-Thru label album in 1998. Lineup changes occurred over the years, with the band achieving success with their 2002 album "Last Stop Suburbia" and subsequent tours with popular acts. After releasing their third album in 2005, Allister went on hiatus in 2007, allowing Rogner to focus on family while other members pursued new projects.

Allister's journey saw them evolve from a school talent show cover band to a respected punk-pop act with a dedicated following. Their upbeat songs and humorous approach, evident in album cover song choices like the Fraggle Rock theme, endeared them to fans. Despite lineup changes and a hiatus in 2007, the band's impact on the punk-pop scene remained notable, with their albums garnering attention and tours solidifying their place in the music industry.
