Biography

ALAZKA, formerly known as BURNING DOWN ALASKA, is a four-member band from Recklinghausen known for their emotional heavy rock music. After the release of their debut EP "Values & Virtues" in 2015, they gained attention by playing at various European festivals and supporting acts like Being As An Ocean. In 2017, they rebranded as ALAZKA and released their debut album "Phoenix" with SharpTone Records in the US and Arising Empire in Europe, leading to significant growth in their career with headline tours and festival appearances.

Their latest single, "Dead End," explores the theme of inevitable change and personal growth, reflecting bassist Julian Englisch's perspective on facing challenges. In 2020, ALAZKA released the single "Living Hell" independently, showcasing their evolving sound and continued dedication to their music. The band consists of Tobias Rische on vocals, Marvin Bruckwilder on guitar, Julian Englisch on bass, and Tobias Lotze on drums.
