Akim

Panamanian artist Akim gained global popularity after signing with the leading urban music label Carbon Fiber Music and collaborating on hits like “Sin Ti” with Menor Menor and Lary Over, as well as “Paredes De Hielo” with Farruko and Ankhal in early 2020, amassing millions of streams and views. Born Eliazar Brown on July 5th, 1991 in Colón, Panama, Akim entered the music industry under the mentorship of his uncle, the renowned artist Apache Ness, a key figure in Panama's reggae scene.

Showing a strong musical inclination from a young age, Akim began recording independent songs at 16 and joined the talent roster of “One Love One Blood” at 18 under Apache Ness's guidance, who was already a respected figure in Panama's Reggae genre. Subsequently, Akim started crafting original material at Gumy and DJ Bass studios, marking a professional turn in his career.
