AJR is an indie pop trio formed in 2005 in New York City, consisting of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The trio gained attention after their debut independent single "I'm Ready" was released in 2013, which peaked at number 27 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart. Their subsequent singles, including "Weak" and "100 Bad Days," have also achieved commercial success. In 2017, AJR released their second full-length album, The Click, featuring collaborations with artists such as Rivers Cuomo of Weezer.
