Formed in 2006 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, "Agrupación Marilyn" pioneered the "Cumbia Testimonial" genre, sharing untold stories of neighborhood life through their music. Their debut album "Historias" quickly achieved Gold and Platinum status, featuring hits like "Me enamoré" and "Mamá soltera," along with the poignant tribute track "Su Florcita," named after a real-life tragedy.

The band's success led to the release of five more albums and extensive tours across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, resonating with the Latin community worldwide. Inspired by the tragic story of a girl named Marilyn, the band renamed themselves in her honor, capturing the hearts of fans with their authentic and relatable narratives.
