Adel Tawil

Adel Tawil, born in 1978 in Berlin to an Egyptian father and Tunisian mother, rose to fame as one half of the duo Ich + Ich alongside Ideal singer Annette Humpe. The duo achieved chart-topping success with albums such as "Vom selben Stern" (2007) and "Gute Reise" (2009) before Tawil shifted focus to his solo career in 2010. His debut album "Lieder" in 2013 saw significant success with the title track reaching #2 on the singles chart. Tawil continued his solo success with his second album "So sch├╢n anders" in 2017, which debuted at #1 on the German charts.
