Biography

Formed in 1993, 88 Fingers Louie quickly made a name for themselves by releasing three 7” records in their first year, blending influences from California punk, east coast hardcore, and midwestern bands like The Bollweevils and Naked Raygun. After a break in 1999 following a split EP release with Kid Dynamite, the band disbanded, leading members to form new projects like Rise Against and Alkaline Trio.

In 2017, 88 Fingers Louie returned with their first new music in nearly two decades, releasing "Thank You For Being A Friend" which showcased a more mature sound while retaining their signature fast tempos and melodic aggression. Since then, the band has toured Europe, the US, and Canada, including notable appearances at Riot Fest.
