Biography

Republic Records, a Universal subsidiary, signed 3 Doors Down and released their major-label debut, The Better Life, in early 2000. The album went platinum four times in its first year, producing multiple hit singles. Following this success, the band continued to thrive with subsequent releases, including the multi-platinum Away from the Sun in 2002 and the chart-topping Seventeen Days in 2005.

3 Doors Down maintained their momentum with a self-titled album in 2008, which also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The band toured extensively, released new music, and worked on their next album, Time of My Life, which was produced by Howard Benson and came out in 2011 after recording sessions in both Los Angeles and Tokyo.
