Bill Dudley

Bill Dudley, a skilled violinist and fiddler originally from Minnesota, has been a prominent figure in the San Diego music scene since forming an acoustic swing group with guitarist/vocalist Chris Griffin and bassist Paul Hormick for a wedding in April 1994. Dudley's versatile playing style encompasses genres such as 1930s jazz, swing, blues, and Irish and Celtic fiddle tunes, which can be heard throughout southern California. With a background in classical training under teachers like Chris Vitas and Elisabeth Matesky, he has performed with various symphony orchestras and earned accolades from events like the Julian Banjo and Fiddle Contest and Bluegrass Festival in San Diego.
