Antonino Sofia

As a child, he began writing, composing, and arranging music. In 2004, he formed the duo "Hook Up" with his best friend, reaching the semifinals of the Castrocaro Festival with the song "Legame Infinito," for which he wrote the lyrics. The duo won the online voting round of the Cornetto Free Music Festival in 2005 and performed at the Audition in Naples, making it to the top 16 groups in Italy. In 2006, they won the award for Best Original Single "Danza" at the Radio Zenith Messina Music Fest. The most significant period came in May 2007 when they met the record producer Pippo Landro and released the single "Per Sempre," leading them to the finals of the 2007 Festival Show among the top 12 artists nationwide. In July 2010, they auditioned for X Factor in the vocal group category in front of Enrico Ruggeri. In 2011, they entered the selections for Sanremo Giovani with the song "Parlo di Te," published on the official Sanremo website and appeared on the program "Quelli Che...Sanremo" on Canale Italia.
