Biography

Formed in 2014 by Nicolas Mognon-Loyer and Jay Trépanier, ALFM began as a duo performing in bars and cafés before expanding to a trio with Jeremy Flynn. The group quickly gained recognition, performing in various cities and festivals in the Outaouais region, Toronto, and Montreal. In 2019, they played at Mariposa Folk Festival and Blue Skies Festival after attending Folk Music Ontario and Folk Alliance International conferences. Amid the pandemic, ALFM continued performing in virtual sessions like "Studiodyssée" and collaborated with artists such as Luce Dufault at the Festival des Montgolfières in Gatineau.
