Zoufris Maracas

Zoufris Maracas is a world music group founded by Vin and Micho, drawing inspiration from French chanteurs and their African heritage. The duo, who met at age 15 and traveled together across West Africa, reunited in 2007 to busk on the streets of Paris. With the addition of producer Francois Causse on drums, trumpeter Brice, and gypsy guitarist Mike, they released their debut album, "Prison Doree," in 2012. The band's music addresses a variety of social and political issues with a humorous and poetic approach.
