Based in Toronto, the electronic music duo Zeds Dead, comprised of DC (Dylan Mamid) and Hooks (Zachary Rapp-Rovan), originally formed as Mass Productions in 2004, releasing their independent album "Fresh Beetz" in 2007. Transitioning to Zeds Dead in 2009, they explored house and dubstep, with their debut track "Journey of a Lifetime" released that same year, followed by a series of free downloadable releases and remixes.
From 2010 to 2011, Zeds Dead gained momentum, releasing music on various labels and embarking on extensive U.S. tours. Their discography includes EPs like "Adrenaline" and "The Living Dead," as well as collaborations with artists such as Diplo and Pusha T. In 2016, they released their debut LP "Northern Lights" on their Deadbeats label, featuring a diverse range of guest artists. Continuing their prolific output, Zeds Dead has since released remix EPs and collaborated with other prominent musicians like Jauz.
