Zaho, born Zahera Darabid, is an Algerian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and performer in the pop-R&B genre. She gained recognition in 2008 with the hit "C'est Chelou" from her debut album DIMA, which also featured successful tracks like "Je te promets" and "La roue tourne." Zaho won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best French Artist in 2008 and the NRJ Music Award for French Revelation of the Year in 2009.
In 2012, Zaho released her second album CONTAGIEUSE, featuring songs like "Tourner la page" and "Allô." The reissue of the album a year later included the hit "Ma Meilleure" with La Fouine. Zaho ventured into musical theater in 2015-2016 with Dove Attia's production "La Légende du roi Arthur," co-writing and portraying the role of the Fée Morgane. Her third album LE MONDE À L’ENVERS was released in 2017, featuring the track "Laissez-les kouma" with MHD. Zaho returned in 2021 with the single "Ma lune," preceding the release of her album RÉSILIENCE in January 2023, which includes collaborations with artists like Dadju and Tayc. In 2024, she continued to be involved in successful music projects such as "T’étais où" with Jungeli and "si on s’aimait" with Zamdane.
