Young Lunya is a Tanzanian Hip Hop artist known for his lyrical prowess and collaborations with other East African artists. He began his music career as a member of the group OMG before branching out as a solo artist in 2019. Influenced by artists like Professor Jay, Chidi, and Nikki Mbishi, Lunya has released hits such as Mbuzi, Fimbo, and the Freestyle Session series.

In addition to his solo work, Lunya collaborated with Khaligraph Jones on the Yes Bana Remix. Currently, he is working on a new album set to be released this year, following the success of his latest project, Freestyle Session 4.
