Vivek - Mervin

Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon, collectively known as VIVEK & MERVIN, are a music composer duo specializing in Tamil film music and independent music. Combining diverse musical backgrounds and influences, they have collaborated with notable actors including Dhanush, Prabhudeva, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara.

Vivek Siva attended PSBB in Chennai and studied carnatic mandolin under Shri U.P. Raju. He was a member of the fusion band "Zinx" alongside music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Leon James during his school and college years. Mervin Solomon, who attended Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School, began learning piano at the age of three from D.J. Prabhakar at the Madras Institute of Music. He completed Grade 8 in piano from Trinity College of Music, London, and was part of various bands before joining forces with Vivek in the band Zinx. Both Vivek and Mervin have worked as music producers with composer Anirudh Ravichander on several film projects.
