Vijay Yesudas

Vijay Yesudas, a singer and actor, is known for his contributions to Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu films, particularly in the genres of love ballads and wedding songs. Born in Chennai in 1979 to renowned multilingual singer K. J. Yesudas, Vijay received training in Carnatic music in the late 1990s before venturing into the film music industry. In his career, Vijay collaborated with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja on various Tamil soundtracks, such as Kaadhal Kondein in 2003 and Deepavali in 2007. He achieved recognition, winning Kerala State Film Awards for Best Singer in 2007, 2012, and 2018 for his work in films like Nivedyam. Additionally, Vijay showcased his acting skills in Malayalam films like Avan in 2010 and Maari in 2015, marking the beginning of his acting career.
